Let's see Carsen just turned 10 months old. He's got at least 4 teeth coming in at once and doesn't seemed a bit bothered by them. He may fuss a little but he's not all-out miserable.
Carsen has been crawling for a month if not a little over a month now. He's pretty fast. Tucker was walking at 10 months and I'm ok that Carsen is not. He finds enough trouble just crawling. Just moments ago his brother was chunking bits and pieces of yellow play dough of f kitchen appliances. Carsen had a wad of the stuff in his grip but thankfully he also had a pacifier in his mouth or he would have been eating it. He kept putting the play dough up to his nose. I think he liked it.
Besides crawling he's pulling himself up and attempting to cruise. I can tell you this, my hands will be full (even more so than now) when he starts to walk.
Carsen is eating some table foods now. He likes the Cheerios, Gerber puffs, bits of banana's, cheese, grilled cheese, mashed potatoes and more. I'm finding it easier to open a jar of stage 3 foods than finding a meal we all would enjoy. The day will come soon enough. I do plan on NOT cooking separate meals. Tucker is pretty open to trying new things. He likes sauteed mushrooms and tomatoes and papa pouli or however that's spelled. He likes something I don't even like. I'm hoping Carsen is the same way.
I haven't had a moment to express myself creatively if you don't count blogging. I haven't designed a cake in a while. I DID make Nana's birthday cake from scratch, well from a doctored cake mix. It was called "Darn Good Chocolate Cake." And boy was is DARN good. I didn't have time to decorate it like I had planned but the taste made me soon forget my disappointment. I'll be making that cake again.
Tucker seems to be winding up as he gets older. I wish I could find the slow-down-and-be-quiet button and sometimes the Off button.
Is it the 3's or what? Of course, in the back of my mind I'm wondering if he should be tested for you know what (ADD). *Sigh* I suppose I'll mention it at his well check next month.
Todd and I have yet to sit down and tackle our 2008 batten-down-the-hatches BUDGET. That was one of my resolutions, right? Attack our debt, use cash and save money. PLEASE pray we accomplish this. It just has to happen.
